Who Told You to Hate Your Reflection?

Mixed Heritage, Divided Souls: Reclaiming the Beauty Within
What happened to being proud of the diversity woven into our blood and bones? When did we lose sight of the beauty in our mixed heritage? How were we deceived into believing we had to choose just one part of ourselves instead of embracing the whole?
We once celebrated the melting pot as a symbol of unity. Then we evolved the metaphor to the “salad bowl of diversity”—a vision of America where each distinct ingredient contributes to the richness, nutrition, and flavor of the whole. And yet, somehow, this ideal never fully translated to the individual experience.
If we carry diversity in our bodies, in our DNA, in our bloodlines, why were we told to neglect our salad-bowl selves and pick just one ingredient? To identify with one marker and ignore—or worse, deny—the rest? Not just deny, but shun. To the point of hating parts of ourselves that are sacred and beautiful.
The oppressed became the oppressor. The tyranny of the minority has been so fully embraced that the once-free children of God now grumble that they were better off in Egypt—and long to return to their chains. These are lies from the pit of hell. Lies of the enemy. This is the original deception. And deep sigh—this is why so many live in confusion, despair, and delusion.
WAKE UP, PEOPLE! Choose wholeness in a world that demands fragments.
You were wonderfully and fearfully made, infused with the very Breath of your Creator. But unless you seek His Will and His Ways, you will remain double-minded—tossed about by the cultural storms of this dark and dying world.
Seek who He says you are. He identifies you not by your labels, but by your belonging: part of His family, or not. And that choice is yours. The Father is waiting for the return of His prodigals.

I’m excited to walk this journey with you as we unveil the practical and research-based information on how to achieve that which we all desire for ourselves and others – to be “happy”. We discover that happiness is attainable and, better yet, sustainable, as long as one is willing to do the work. In my book “The Happiness Formula”, I dive into each element in detail.
