For all our “advancements” and all our “progress,” research abounds to prove today’s adult is more stressed, less healthy, and certainly not happy.
….and, yet, you want me to believe you can keep yourself focused, get what you want out of life, and achieve your hopes and dreams without a written plan? You actually believe you can “think” your way to success and wealth? You confidently assert you have all the right information stored in your head in an organized fashion to lead to your own excellence?
If you are a somewhat reasonable adult who has a modicum of self-honesty,
you will admit it is impossible to keep track of all the great ideas you come up with on a daily basis. If your bravado has tempered some and you have a smidgen of humility, you will admit it is downright unreasonable to assume you will achieve any level of success without a written plan, a documented vision, the establishment of metrics against which you can measure yourself.
So what has kept you from writing plans when it comes to what you want to achieve in life? What lies have you believed that keep you from taking the action of defining a monthly budget and then tracking your inflows and outflows such that you can assess where the “leakages” exist? How is it that you have become so self-deluded that you talk about being great and yet you have not written a formal, annual plan against which you can track your progress?
I have been writing annual plans and tracking my assets and liabilities via a documented budgeting process for over 20 years and every year life increases in not just the physical, tangible abundance but how I FEEL about my life, health, wealth, relationships, and, ultimately, my Self! It is a scientific and spiritual Truth that there is power in the written word. As such, write out your annual plan. Define your annual budget.
